Missing teens cause panic on float trip

A search of Center Creek in Jasper County moves upstream to Spring River in Cherokee County, but ends back upstream where two teens had started their float trip with their family.

Authorities tell us they were contacted about a 14 and 16 year old who had been separated from their group during a float on Center Creek in Jasper County.  The family and authorities searched the creek by boat and on foot, and eventually moved downstream to the Spring River in Cherokee County.

Fortunately, the teens were found this evening where their group had originally started their float trip.
