Coffeyville woman killed in weekend crash

A single car crash late Saturday night leaves a Coffeyville, Kansas woman dead.

The accident happened in Chautauqua County just before midnight.

Kansas state troopers say a truck was traveling down County Road 31 when the driver failed to make a left turn onto Dalton Road and slammed into a tree.

One of the passengers, Kristi Tatum, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and another passenger were taken to a local hospital with injuries.
