Arson suspected in Golden City fires

The Barton County Sheriff's Office and the Missouri fire marshal's office are investigating two possible arson fires in Golden City, Missouri.

The two structure fires were started around 5:30 a.m. on two different days, one on Monday and the second on Wednesday.

Both residences were unoccupied at the time and both structures are a total loss.
