VH1 was in Joplin on Thursday filming Art Feeds programs for an upcoming awards show.
Art Feeds is one of five finalists up for a $100,000 grant among the top world changers under 25 years old.
Art Feeds is a non-profit organization and became prominent after the tornado helping thousands of young children express themselves through art.
The organization says if they win the money will be put into their programs.
"We would fund our programs for next year, our lesson cost is $1 per lesson per child and our goal is to be with 3,800 students starting in the Fall," says Marissa Fahrig of Art Feeds.
