Missouri Governor Jay Nixon met with farmers Tuesday to address the fallout over drought conditions plaguing much of the Four State area and the country.
All 114 counties in Missouri were designated as Primary Natural Disaster Areas Tuesday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Nixon said this disaster designation will help farmers out tremendously.
"This disaster declaration will allow all of the processes in place out there whether it's the loans, the insurance, all of that stuff to be accelerated and to move forward as we look to the Fall," says Nixon.
