Workforce Investment Group hosted a job fair today in Joplin.
The job fair was open to the public but it focused on victims from last years tornado currently living in temporary FEMA housing.
Around a dozen employers were present and job seekers could talk with some of those employers and fill out an application.
"Job fairs are a great way to get employers in one area where people can go and make the best use of their time, and right now with the employment rate still high, it is a good thing to be able to help people to get those jobs," says Leslie Abram of the Workforce Investment Board.
The next job fair will be held this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
