A 13 year-old girl makes a donation today to the Joplin Parks and Recreations Department.
Sarah Conner donated $800 to the department with money she raise from her lemonade stand. She says she didn't have a set price for her lemonade, only asking for donations.
Conner has been raising money since she was six and has totaled between $10,000 and $12,000 for various causes and charities.
"It's probably because I'm raising money for a cause and not just trying to get money for a laptop or iPhone or something," Connor says. "It's also really good lemonade."
Her dad is also raising money for a cause. He is riding across the country from New York to California to raise money for Sunrise Day Camp, the only day camp in the country dedicated to children with cancer and their siblings.
