Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri unveiled two homes they helped build and repair for two families whose homes were either destroyed or damaged in last year's tornado.
The organization helped Emily Russell and her two sons remodel their damaged home, including putting in a storm shelter.
"This house is very important to me - I associate this house with my grandma," says Russell. "I don't have my grandma, so to have a piece of my grandma is very important and Catholic Charities made that happen. I couldn't have done it without them. I really, honestly, don't know what I would have done if they wouldn't have helped me."
Catholic Charities has helped rebuild a total of six homes and has repaired more than 100 homes.
