22 year old killed in weekend rodeo

A 22-year-old is killed after he's thrown from a bull during Saturday's competition at the Allen County, Kansas fair rodeo.

The Allen County sheriff says Justin Jeffries of Sedalia, Missouri had just shot out of the gate when he was thrown off his bull.

Rodeo clowns were able to clear the arena for the emergency crews.

Jefferies was later pronounced dead at the Allen County hospital.

Jefferies was a member of the MRCA Rodeo Association.
