Ribbon cutting at Touches of Splendors in Joplin

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held today for Touches of Splendors opening.

Four and a half years ago Amy Schofield started the cleaning company out of a bedroom in her home, employing only herself after losing her job as an administrative assistant in Joplin.

Now her business employs 105 people and has expanded to its new building.

U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Steelman was there to cut the ribbon.
