It is voting day in Kansas and Missouri.
Some key issues we'll be following in Southwest Missouri:
It's been a busy morning at the poll at Royal Heights United Methodist Church in Missouri. At the noon hour there's been a steady flow of voters, but there's still a little struggle for those relocating after the tornado.
A couple who went to the Byers Avenue United Methodist Church to vote had an issue with their new voter ID card. When the couple recently went to the courthouse to change their home address they received a new voter ID card. However, it was unlike the ones sent in the mail and the new system at the poll could not find them. The clerk tells us it was an easy fix, they just had to input more information.
Others went swiftly through the new system and cast their ballots. By 11 a.m. more than 105 had voted at the United Methodist Church.
Voting also seemed steady in Columbus, Kansas today.
There's plenty of time to vote and all polling places are open until 7 p.m. this evening.
Results of today's voting will be posted on our website this evening.
