Joplin Schools vehicles get "wrapped" at Tri-State Sign Expo

Updated:

Vehicles from Joplin area not-for profits and the Joplin School District get a facelift thanks to area sign companies on Saturday.

At this year's Tri-State Sign Expo the Joplin-based company Sign Design demonstrated how to "wrap" a vehicle.

The Joplin School District, Boys & Girls Club, and Community Support Services donated vehicles to be wrapped.

Those who attended the Expo say the new and improved cars just add to the community spirit of Joplin.

"When I walked in and saw Joplin Schools it made me excited, I thought wow, this is so great that everyone is pulling together for this community, it looks fantastic," says trade show attendee Stephanie McConnell.  "I know these are expensive to get a car wrap done.  It takes a lot of time, it's not something that is very quick or easy to do and so it's fantastic and a real positive for the community."

Organizers say more than 400 people attended the expo.
