Suspect named in Lawrence County homicide

Martin Meza, also known as Carlos Gonzalez

Updated at 2:00 PM CST: A warrant has been issued for Martin Meza, also known as Carlos Gonzalez, 28, of Pierce City, Missouri.

Meza is charged with first degree murder for the death of Able Ibarra.

Meza is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Meza are urged to call 911 immediately.

Posted August 13, 2012 at 12:00 PM CST: The Lawrence County sheriff says deputies discovered the body of 45-year-old Able Ibarra near Pierce City, Missouri last night on a rural road.

On Saturday law enforcement had responded to a home a few miles from where the body was found after receiving a call of shots fired.

The sheriff says no one was home but they did find a large amount of blood and evidence that several people had been there.

An autopsy to determine the cause of death is underway.
