Parsons police respond to fight involving a shotgun

Officers in Parsons, Kansas responded to a fight involving a shotgun at 213 Willow.

The suspect left the scene before officers arrived but he was later arrested.

Authorities interviewed a 47 year-old victim and found a sawed-off shotgun used in the assault after searching the suspects vehicle.

The 27-year-old suspect from Houston, Texas is expected to be formally charged Tuesday with aggravated assault, aggravated criminal threat, criminal use of a weapon and battery.
