Another pet lost in the Joplin tornado is back with its owner

Updated:

Misty Pietrzak and her cat, Baby, were reunited today at the Joplin Humane Society.

Baby had been lost in the May 22, 2011 tornado that struck Joplin and was recently found at one of the feeding stations around town.

Pietrzak thought she would never see her cat again and even had him tattooed on her back.

She says it's like having a family member back.

"It's like being reunited with your child again - our home will be complete again," says Pietrzak.  "He was my sidekick and everything."

The humane society asks that people who are still missing their animals to not give up as animals are still being found and to check in a couple times a week as animals are brought in every day.
