A Four State man dies in a Kansas City hospital after a shooting at a Pittsburg home early Sunday morning.  Pittsburg police release the name of the man shot over the weekend.

Shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday morning authorities were called to a home in the 400 block of West 2nd Street.

Bryan Merando, 21, had been shot once.  He was taken to Via Christi Hospital and later flown to Kansas City where he passed away Sunday afternoon.

Officers say there were several witnesses at the home when the shooting occurred and they have questioned people who were in the home at the time.

No one has been arrested or charged.

"All of our police reports and follow-up information is going to be forwarded to the county attorney and it will ultimately be up to their office to determine whether or not any sort of charges will come about from this incident," says Pittsburg Police Major Brent Narges.

The incident is still under investigation.
