Homemade Ranch Pita Chips Recipe

RANCH PITA CHIPS

4 pita pocket bread halves 
¼ cup margarine, melted

1 teaspoon dry Ranch Dressing mix 

Separate the pita bread halves.  Combine margarine and Ranch Dressing; brush on each half; cut each half into four wedges.  Place in single layer on ungreased baking sheet.  Bake at 400o F. for 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp.  Makes 32 chips

BACON CHEESE SPREAD*

1 package (8 oz) soy cream cheese 
¼ cup finely chopped chives 
¼ cup finely chopped sweet red bell pepper

¼ cup crumbled cooked bacon

In small mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, chives, red bell pepper and bacon until combined.  Use as spread for sandwiches. Makes about 1¾ cups.
