$300k to help Baxter Springs resurface Military Street

The Kansas Department of Transportation's Geometric Improvement Program will help road construction projects throughout Kansas.

Those will include $300,000 to resurface Military Street in Baxter Springs from 3rd to 9th.

Altogether, the state will provide almost $11 million for projects statewide, which will be built at an estimated cost of $15 million.

The cities will provide matching funds to cover the remainder of the costs.
