Authorities have seized what they say is about 220 packets of K-2 from Bengal Mart Convenience Store in Carthage.
Carthage police served a search warrant to the store after an investigation revealed the store may have been selling K-2, which is an illegal narcotic.
"We've had an investigation that has been ongoing for some time," says Captain Randee Kaiser of the Carthage Police Department. "We received some information that K-2 was being sold out of this location, so as a result of that we proceeded with our investigation which lead up to getting a search warrant for the store."
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
