Joplin man pleads guilty to producing child pornography

A Joplin man today plead guilty in federal court to producing child pornography.

Jason Beshears plead guilty to eight county of producing child porn which carries a 50 year prison sentence.

Under the terms of the agreement Beshears must also plead guilty to statutory rape in a separate case. That guilty plea carries a life in prison sentence.
