Members of the Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative met at the Grove Civic Center for its annual meeting on Saturday.
It was the 75th annual REC Day put on by the cooperative to show appreciation for its members.
The cooperative started in September 1938 and currently serves more than 28,000 members in a four county area.
Members also used the meeting to meet with vendors, and listen to local entertainment.
"We still believe in the cooperative way and we are a family," says Anthony Due, the General Manager of the cooperative.
According to Due about 6,000 people showed up to the event throughout the day.
