While some might spend their Saturday mornings sleeping in, others got up early for the Art Feeds Paint Wars. Eighteen groups competed outside the Bridge in Joplin.
Competitors were given white T-shirts to play in, some ended covered in multi-colored paint.
Each team contributed $250.00 to play. Proceeds go towards helping the organization teach thousands of children weekly.
Founder Megan Bourne says she is thankful for the communities support.
"I think everyone is having a really great time, I'm seeing everyone covered in paint, then we know they've lost, so they're having a good time and everyone is very colorful, this will be annual so we're looking forward to doing it every year" says Bourne.
