Pittsburg State University announces a record breaking fall enrollment of 7,289 students. The previous record was set just last year with 7,275 students. The Kansas Board of Regents reports total public university enrollment is down across the state. University officials say minority enrollment and recruiting students from nearby states are helping attract more students. "One key factor in PSU's enrollment growth is the popular Gorilla Advantage Program," said Bill Ivy, associate vice president for enrollment management and student success.
