Former State Rep Dies

A local politician and Webb City's Economic Development Director, Chuck Surface has died. Surface was 68 years old, and had cancer. Surface served in the Missouri House of Representatives and was a Jasper County Commissioner. "He was a great person to work with and a viable asset to the city. He was a great family man and will be missed." said Webb City Administrator Carl Francis.

Surface is survivor ed by his wife, three children and one granddaughter. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday at 3pm in Oronogo. The funeral service will be held Monday at 10am at Christ Church Oronogo.
