Neosho County, Kansas authorities are investigating medicated brownies at Erie High School.

According to the sheriff's office a 16 year old Erie High School student is accused of bringing brownies laced with prescription pills to school.  Another student apparently ate the brownies and her parents were notified.

The sheriff says the 16 year-old baked the brownies Sunday and ate some of them with his family, knowing the brownies were laced with prescription pills.

The 16 year old is in custody and could face charges.

The brownies will be sent to a lab to confirm whether or not if there are prescription pills in them.
