High school senior creates coloring book to show Joplin school pride

A Joplin High School senior makes his publishing debut while spreading a little school pride at the same time.

Eddie the Eagle, the Joplin School Districts mascot, is the featured character in the Eagle Pride coloring book and helped deliver them to kindergarten students at West Central Elementary on Wednesday.

The character and book are the creation of senior Jeremiah Johnson who hopes the book inspires pride and creativity in the kids.
