Fall Festival is underway at Pittsburg State University

Fall Festival is underway at Pittsburg State University.

The theme this year is "Think globally, act locally".

There is live music, a pumpkin carving contest and speeches by Kansas senate candidates.

Congressional candidates Michelle Hucke and Julie Menghini also participated in a debate.

Students are being encouraged to register to vote at events.

The feature event is the Pitt State Hunger Games competition which starts at about 6:30 p.m.

The event will raise money for world hunger.
