Members of the "Everybody Plays" Committee broke ground on a new swing set Saturday at Schlanger Park.

Schlanger Park in Pittsburg will soon see a new addition. Members of the "Everybody Plays" Committee broke ground on a new swing set Saturday.

The swing set is one of the first pieces of equipment that will be installed at the multi-generational, universally acceptable playground area. The swings will have backs on them to support children while they sit.

The playground will be made out of material that doesn't have tripping hazards and is easy for wheelchairs or strollers to navigate.
