IRS asking for volunteers to help others with tax returns

Updated:

The Internal Revenue Service is looking for people in Southeast Kansas to help others in their community with tax returns.

The IRS wants people to provide free basic income tax return preparation for those in need of help.

Last year volunteers helped prepare more than 3.3 million tax returns in the U.S.

To help you can join Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counseling for the Elderly.
