Northpark Mall presented a $10,000 check to the Joplin High School rebuilding fund today.
The donation includes $5,000 in recognition of the mall being picked as the winner of the southern region and another $5,000 for receiving an overall support award.
"$10,000 is going to go a long ways in helping us to move forward with the construction projects," says Joplin Superintendent C.J. Huff.
The mall served as a temporary high school for Joplin after the school was destroyed in last year's tornado.
