Communities surrounding Oswego, Kansas show support of a seven year old who's facing multiple surgeries after being born with ectodermal dysplasias-or E.E.C.

Communities surrounding Oswego, Kansas show support of a seven year old who's facing multiple surgeries after being born with ectodermal dysplasias-or E.E.C.

The event Sunday was titled Ty's Medical Journey and sought to raise money for surgical and follow up appointments for the boy who was born with a cleft lip, hands and feet.

More than  forty local business donated gift certificates and prizes for a  raffle.
Other activities included a bake sale, live music and a bounce house.

Donations are also being accepted at Labette Bank, attention;Tara, 424 Commercial in Oswego, KS 67356.

    Joplin officials are looking for a non-profit group to sponsor the annual Christmas parade.The event usually includes more thanone hundredentries. Organizers would have to have meetings with the police department to ensure safety for participants, spectators and for traffic.
