Carthage men arrested in Junior High School robbery

News release from the Carthage Police Department

At 6:11 AM, 10-17-12, a burglary was reported by employees of the Carthage Junior High School. Several areas of the school had been accessed by the suspects during the early morning hours of 10-17-12. Damage to the school is estimated at $5,000. There is no evidence that student records or vital information was accessed during this burglary.

Investigation into the incident resulted in two individuals being arrested during the evening of 10-18-12. Phillip Jordan Neese, 20, and Brandon Woods, 21, both of Carthage were both arrested for second degree burglary.

The investigation into this incident continues.
