25th Annual Blast from the Past

The Blast from the Past is back in Joplin.  It's the 25th Annual Blast from the Past, with all proceeds from the event going to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Some of the features at this year's event include dancing, shows, and contests.

"The great thing is that your tickets are going to help local families here in this area, so with that 20 dollars you will be able to provide services for those families such as wheelchair repairs, sending kids to camp and of course research," says Lacey Goins of MDA of Joplin.

The event runs through Saturday at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Joplin.
