Crashes involving Kansas teen drivers decline and safety experts credit the graduated driver's license law that went into effect in 2010 and increased seat belt use.

State transportation records show accidents involving drivers 14 to 16 years old dropped from more than 5 thousand in 2004 to less than 3 thousand last year.
