Jasper County Sheriff's Deputy dies after battling pancreatic cancer

Jasper County Sheriff's Office is mourning the loss of one of their own.

Long-time deputy Terry Tyler passed away last night while battling pancreatic cancer.  He was diagnosed a few months ago.

Tyler leaves behind a wife and two daughters.

Visitation is Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mason-Woodard Funeral Home.  The funeral is Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Fairview Christian Church in Carthage.
