The Seneca, Missouri Intermediate School held elections today for it's fourth grade class.
The candidates included our own general managers son, Gabe Thomas, and each candidate gave speeches to the class on why they would make a good president.
The class then went into voting booths using made up voter ID cards and elected Thomas as the president, who went on to appoint his cabinet.
The students were also split up into states and each one elected a senator.
"I wanted to run for president because I wanted to have a chance to help our class become a great nation, slash class," says Thomas.
