November holidays change Parsons trash service schedule

News release issued by the City of Parsons

PARSONS, KS — On November 12, the City of Parsons Offices will be closed in honor of Veteran's Day. There will be no bulk trash service on that day. It will resume November 19.

In addition, the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday will change sanitation schedules. Please note the City of Parsons offices will be closed November 22 and 23, 2012.

Residents should also be aware that the Thursday trash route (1^st Ward) and the Friday trash route (2^nd Ward) will be picked up on Monday, Nov. 26.

Due to this schedule, there will be no bulk trash pick-up on Monday, November 26, 2012. Bulk trash pick-up will resume Monday, December 2.
