Pittsburg fire chief announces his retirement

The Pittsburg Fire Department chief announced his retirement today.

After 34 years of service Scott Crain will step down on January 1.

Crain started at the fire department in 1979 and earned many promotions before being named the fire chief in 2010.

Among Chief Crain's accomplishments was the establishment of the fire marshal position.
