Earlier this week a Freeman Health System employee received a home from Habitat for Humanity. Today, she and her coworkers helped repay the generosity.
Trisha Lara and her two children lost their home in the May 22 tornado.
For receiving the home Lara was asked to volunteer 130 hours herself, and find volunteers to donate another 70 hours.
On Friday 33 coworkers from Freeman donated their time.
"It's very sweet, it's awesome actually, that they would spend their time and come out here and help," says Lara.
Volunteers worked on five different homes today.
