Fire in Nevada, Missouri Kills Elderly Man

A fire kills an elderly Nevada Missouri man. It happened around 7:00PM Saturday night on County Road 1325.

The Vernon County Coroner David Ferry identified the victim as 75-year old Louis Carter.

Carter's wife was able to escape the fire and was treated at the Nevada Regional Hospital.

The Red Cross was on the scene offering support for emergency personnel.
