Shooting in Pittsburg Leaves Woman Shot in Leg

The Pittsburg Police Department confirms a woman is shot in the leg and has been transported to Via Christi Hospital.

It happen at 408 North Rouse Street at around 8:44AM Sunday morning.

37 year old Anthony Gene Lowe fled the house in a 2004 gold Cadillac sedan with an unknown Missouri license plate.

Officials say the woman's injuries are considered non life threatening.

Police say Lowe is considered armed and dangerous.

The investigation is ongoing and police urge residents with tips to call the station.
