Broadway and Quincy intersection to be closed starting November 11

News release issued by the City of Pittsburg (edited for spacing only):

Lathrop Construction, Inc., the contractor hired by the City of Pittsburg to perform the water line replacement project on Broadway Street from Quincy Street to 2nd Street is gearing up to begin construction of this project. The contractor will be closing the intersection of Quincy Street and Broadway Street (US-69B) beginning Sunday evening, November 11th, 2012.

This intersection will be closed for approximately one (1) week, to commence the replacement of the water line on Broadway Street. The chosen detour route for trucks only will be north on Walnut Street to Jefferson Street and then east to Broadway Street. The chosen detour for vehicular traffic only will be south on Pine Street to Carlton Street and then east to Broadway Street.
