Veterans Day Parade in Joplin to start at 10 a.m. on Saturday

The 5th annual Veterans Day Parade in Joplin will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

This year's theme is "Joplin in rebuilding thanks to the citizens of Joplin and veterans throughout the U.S.A."

Organizers ask drivers to use caution during Saturday's Veterans Day event.

The parade will start on 15th Street and move north on Main to 3rd Street, then from 3rd to Joplin Avenue ending at Memorial Hall.

Many of the side streets will be closed and officers will be out to direct traffic in these areas.
