Pittsburg Veteran's are Honored

Veteran's across the Pittsburg area celebrate their day with a ceremony and a free lunch.

As some veterans fill their plate with some beans and ribs, others catch up on old times.

Veterans say its nice to have a day in their honor and to remind the soldiers overseas they are not forgotten. Some say its nice to get together in fellowship and reflect on the past.

"It's really close to my heart and uh all the vets all the people I met in the military in the last 30 years and good times we shared and the bad times too" says Service Office Post 64 and veteran Robert Munson.

More than 30 veterans attended the ceremony.
