Benefit for Quick Dine in Nevada

A Nevada Missouri restaurant donates its sales to those effected by a recent accident.

Owners of Daylight Donuts and More, hosted a benefit for those who were injured and lost their job at the Quick Dine diner. 

The diner was recently destroyed after a semi truck ran into the building, killing two people.

All sales made at the restaurant will be donated to the former employees and to those injured by the accident.

"Luckily somewhere or another I ended up under the truck and didn't have too serious of injuries some bruised lung and kidney and a lot of bruises and scrapes and stuff like that" says diner crash victim Roger Berning.

"There's people out there that care whether you have food to eat or a job or just people that care its wonderful" says former Quick TIme Diner employee Pamela Hoover.

All together the restaurant raised $575.00.

The money was distributed evenly to those effected.
