Free health tests offered this week in Southwest Missouri

Updated:

A health tour traveling among some area Walgreen stores will offer the free tests through Friday.

The tests are for anyone age 18 and older and measure ten key indicators including total cholesterol, blood pressure, real body age and glucose levels.

"Prevention is the key to staying healthy so it's important to come on out and get these tests done," says Veronica Marmolego, a certified wellness staff member.  "Some of the leading diseases are cancer, diabetes and heart disease so that's why prevention is the key to staying healthy, it's just a check to see where you're standing."

The tour was in Webb City on Monday and will continue the rest of this week.
