Students build bathhouse at Pittsburg park for long distance travelers

Some southeast Kansas students helped build a bathhouse at Lincoln Park's RV area as part of a Pittsburg city project on Friday.

The bathhouse is for attendants of the RV Park and long distance bicycle riders.

Some Fort Scott Community College students with oversight from the construction department at Pittsburg State helped build the bathhouse.  PSU doesn't teach masonry so the FSCC Construction Department was asked to help.

Students and teachers say it's a good learning experience.

"It's good on the jobsite training for our students," says Nicoma Oehme of FSCC.
