Midwest Clay Show

Updated:

About 30 local artists from Midwest Clay showcase their talents just in time for the holidays.

From clay tea pots to canoes those visiting the Midwest Clay's fall show and sale had lots of choices from a variety of artists.

Midwest clay offers showcases such as these two times per year, once before thanksgiving and again the weekend before mother's day.

Organizers say the event is a great way to display local talent and offers unique gifts for friends and families.

"We have a lot of repeat customers so they kind of have an idea of what they want and expect, but yeah, a lot of people are kind of amazed at the talent that we have locally so there is some expression of surprise, ooh's and ahs" says President Daria Claiborne.

The show took place at the City Point business center in Webb City.
