Miami Nation Christmas Bazaar

Miami Tribe members get into the Holiday spirit with their annual Christmas bazaar at the Miami Civic Center.

The event is put on by the Title Six program of the Miami Nation in Oklahoma, which seeks to benefit their elders, community and tribe.

The event features unique gifts-from native American beadwork, handmade jewelry and decorations.

This year's bazaar-held at the Miami Civic Center-- was bigger than last year's with forty three tables of goodies for purchase.

"This is our thirteenth year in formally we had them in tribal facilities, but it has grown, year after year and as the tribe has expanded also, this was our best location to come to," Lori Pendergraft, Bazaar Coordinator, Miami Nations,

Pendergraft says it was so popular that she already has table reservation requests for next years bazaar.
