
Someone bought a $1 million PowerBall ticket in Joplin from yesterday's big jackpot drawing.
It was bought at as Casey's General Store on South Rangeline in Joplin.
Plus, one of the two PowerBall jackpot winning tickets was bought at a Trex Mart in Dearborn, Missouri near Kansas City. The ticket holder or group will split a PowerBall record $587.5 million jackpot with the other winning ticket holder, which was bought in Arizona.
This puts Missouri at 27 PowerBall jackpot winners, ranking the state second for the most winners behind only Indiana.
Shops that sell the winning PowerBall ticket receive $50,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Winners have 180 days to claim their prize.
